– June 25 through July 9 – this dead period is state mandated and applies to ALL high school athletes. During this time, high school athletes are not allowed to be involved with high school teams or use high school facilities. This time frame is when we encourage families to take their family vacations.

Conditional Absence Request
In order for the absence to be considered for approval, it should be turned in to the assistant principal one week prior to the requested day of absence. A conditional absence cannot fall before or after a school break or holiday. Download a copy of the Conditional Absence Form.
KHSAA Physical Form
ALL ATHLETES MUST TURN THE KHSAA PHYSICAL FORM IN TO THE COACH AT TRYOUTS.You will not be allowed to try out until the coach gets the KHSAA form. Failure to get the physical forms in to the coach on time may result in loss of the opportunity to try out. Download the physical form above and complete it prior to your tryout.
KORT is Mercy Academy's official sports medicine/rehabilitation provider. Our trainer, Marti Greer, is available to all of our student athletes as the exclusive provider of athletic training and rehabilitation services.
Marti Greer, MS, ATC, RT(R)
Marti is nationally certified with the National Athletic Trainers Association, Board of Certification. She has a Master of Science Degree in Movement Science with a specialization in Athletic Training from Barry University (Miami, FL) and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Eastern Kentucky University (Richmond, KY). Marti is also certified by the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists in Diagnostic Radiography.
